A to Z (about me)

I am not very good with “about me” sections so I found an easier way out for you all to know more about me. Lets do an A to Z questionaire instead! Here I will enclose the first unique thing that comes to my mind (somehow related to me) starting with the letters of the alphabets.

A – Asian, the AZN factor. I am an asian (Indian) and I am also very much into asian culture. I love watching Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese/Chinese dramas. Big fan of the cuisine, festivals, language…in a word everything!

B – Bookworm? not so much but I do like reading books. If I had more time to spare I would probably read a lot more. I mostly read fictional books. Some of my favorites include Lord of the Rings trilogy, Harry Potter series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, The Da Vinci Code and the Twilight series.

C – Colorful! My mother tells me that when I was a small girl I would choose to wear the more colorful dresses within my wardrobe. However that was childhood; although I like all colors of the rainbow, I don’t dress as colorful anymore. My favorite color is blue but a majority of my outfits are black.

D – Dancing is my hobby. I don’t know many styles, just mostly freestyle but in future I would like to learn ball-room dancing. I like watching music videos and copying the dance steps. On a random note I was introduced to a unique style recently – ssanti.

E – Eat Eat Eat XD! I love good food. I like going out to different places to try out different cuisines with my family, friends, co-workers,etc. There is a minor problem though – I am vegetarian and on top of that I can be quite picky with my food. Nevertheless, I manage to find good stuff; I also have a sweet tooth and I can’t resist spicy delicacies!!!

F – Fanlistings were first introduced to me by some of my online, forum friends. I soon started building my own fanlistings. They are fun and a good way of getting to know people who share the same obsessions as you. If you don’t know what they are then look it up on google :P

G – Gamer. Not hardcore, mostly RPGS. I like playing games once in a while. I currently own a XBox 360, Nintendo DS and sometimes play games on my laptop. I am a big fan of the Final Fantasy series.

H – Heels are not meant for me? So far I avoid wearing shoes with high heels. They seem painful but maybe I will eventually get used to them in future…

I – Internet is my second home. I spend a lot of time on the net browsing, watching stuff online, downloading tons, IMing, forums, social networking, etc. You get the picture…if I knew the time I spend on the net I would probably be shocked XD.

J – Jang Keun Suk (한글: 장근석). My. Latest. Obsession. Need I say anymore? He is an actor, singer and model. His most current drama is “You are Beautiful” (한글: 미남이시내요). He has acted in a lot of commercials and sings for most of his dramas, CFs, etc. I would love to go to one of his fan-meetings someday :D.

K – Korean is the language that I am learning at the moment. In my opinion it is comparitively easier than learning Japanese or Chinese. Hopefully I will learn enough to help me survive a visit to South Korea if I get to go there.

L – LMAO. I might seem like a serious person but once you get to know me, you will know that I love to laugh. Some of my friends even complain that I laugh too much which I think is ridiculous. But I guess I have a quirky sense of humor (in a good way that I can find the simplest of things quite funny) LOL.

M – Mommy <3 I like spending time with my mom, she’s my best friend and I am very close to her. I probably chose her for “M” because she recently visited me and left a couple of days ago and I kind of miss her :(

N – NEW stuff!!! I definitely like having novelty in my life. I am always attracted to new gadgets, movies, music or even trends. However I am not a big fan of changes in general. So in a way I like only material newness? ^_^;

O – Onomatopoeia is one of my favorite figures of speech which I use in my normal life knowingly as well as unknowingly. I like making random sounds like Nodame from Nodame Cantabile.

P – Piano is an instrument I am trying to play and would love to be proficient in. I love music and have had always wanted to be able to play an instrument. Though I have somewhat small fingers, I want to learn how to play the piano well. I really like some of the classical pieces, especially Rachmaninoff’s piano concerto.

Q – Quests? Some of my future quests include being able to play the piano well, improving my web design skills, learning Korean, Japanese and maybe Chinese,  travel all over the world!

R – Rosetta Stone is a pretty helpful piece of software. I have been taking lessons online, but at the same time I am trying to follow the Korean courses on Rosetta Stone as well. I don’t do it often since I am busy with other things but I think it helps you pick up the pronunciations and improves your vocabulary considerably :)

S – Seoul/South Korea is number one on my places to visit list. I hope my work sends me there at some point LOL.

T – Truth and Trust are of utmost importance to me. I can try to accept anything and everything if you are truthful to me and are trustworthy.

U – Universe fascinates me. Often times when I am free I will watch videos related to space, universe, etc. I like observing naturally occurring phenomenons like eclipses, shooting stars, comets, star/constellation gazing, etc.

V – Vermont is where I currently reside. It is a small, peaceful and beautiful state in the US. I love it here! The summers are beautiful and the winter snow is amazing. The people here are very friendly and open minded ^_^

W – Walt Disney is one of my favorite movie makers of all time. I would love to visit Disney land or Disney world at some point.

X – XBox 360 is my current favorite game console. It has high quality graphics and interesting titles available. I hope I never see the red ring of death >_>

Y – “You are Beautiful” (한글: 미남이시내요) is my current favorite drama. I have seen it thrice already? I want to see it more times but I shouldn’t get over obsessive lol. I love the OST and am looking forward to watching it again in future. Maybe they will make a second season? *fingers crossed*

Z – Zodiac signs can be somewhat true. I am a Taurus and some facts apply to me too. But there’s way too many people belonging to the same sign and hence I just believe in it for fun XD.

I hope this is a good way to express random facts about myself. I will try to add more content so that people can know more about me!!!
